SS Precision Ag is investing in local farmers to ensure they can benefit from technology for years into the future

Local NTRIP networks provide Real-time positioning to accurately map, steer and apply products using GPS technology.

SS Precision Ag is creating a NTRIP network to support all the farmers in the community, by offering network corrections to areas that previously have missed out on the latest positioning technology.

NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) corrections play a vital role in agricultural navigation.

Traditionally, GPS/GNSS receivers relied solely on signals from satellites to determine their position. However, these signals are subject to various errors caused by atmospheric conditions, satellite orbits, and signal multipath. NTRIP corrections provide a means to compensate for these errors in real-time, significantly enhancing the accuracy and reliability of position information.

This accuracy allows farmers to have more productive time in the field, not waiting for satellite corrections, or those costly GPS shifts in field.
